Video on Sunday's Readings (17th Sunday Ordinary Time)

Nate really did a great video for this Sunday's readings. Check it out:

Hey MIchael,

Great job on one of my favorite passages in the Gospels! I especially liked the critique of H. E. G. Paulus; I have a personal animus toward the 'miracle of sharing' interpretation, which has caught on like a bad rash. Where did you dig up that picture of him?!

Anyway, keep producing videos like this for the next three years, and you could package the whole thing for priests' homilies. Good work.

I have difficulty getting the videos to play on my computer. I turn "HD" off and go to the site and wait for it to completely load but still get chopping while it plays. Any clues?

I showed the lesson to my family; my wife and two girls and we did a bible lesson at home. Thanks for the help. Maybe we can do this each sunday.

I don't know what to tell you because it doesn't seem to be having a problem for any of us. The issue may be your internet connection or your browser. I'd encourage you to try viewing it in a different browser, e.g., try Firefox. Also try closing down other programs. The video is also up over at YouTube, though the quality is much lower than Vimeo. Maybe that video will work better for you.

Thanks for watching and I hope the problem resolves itself.

Michael,
I guess your explanation is more theological and profound than my frivolous explanation of why Jesus multiplied both bread and fishes – as an early Product Placement for the MacDonald's "Filet-O-Fish" sandwich (the cheese and tartar sauce falling out in the textual tradition).
