Ferguson Explains the Downfall of Western Civilization

Okay, this is an "incomplete" answer to the question, "How the World Get This Bad?" Certainly, I'd say, the Fall accounts for some of it! And, of course, not far behind that, students will tell you that I'd attribute much of our sorry state to the influence of William of Ockham.
