This is hilarious! Here is my friend New Testament scholar Michael Bird doing a parody on commercials by Old Spice. Here he is speaking about the complimentary SBL Greek New Testament all participants received at last week's conference in Atlanta as s.w.a.g. And, yeah, it's pretty sweet. Ah yes, I love Bible scholars with personality. That's what makes Dr. Bergsma such a great professor! If a scholar has personality like that, you know his monograph probably won't read like a phone book :-)
